Policy for Musical Instruction

1. The student’s commitment to the full academic year is expected

(September to June)

2. Lessons missed by the student for ANY REASON will not be rescheduled or refunded. Please do not bring your child to their lesson if he or she is ill.

3. Lessons that must be missed by the teacher due to professional obligation will be rescheduled.

4. Tuition fees are based on a “flat fee” model and are due by the first lesson in the term, each cheque post dated to the 1st of the month in the amount of $80(piano), $80(voice), $100(flute) per month payable to: Lena Norkina. (Based on an average of 4 - ½ hour lessons per month, one lesson per week)

There will be an extra charge if you require lessons longer than one half hour per week. 

5. A $40.00 registration fee per student (non-refundable) will also be levied at the beginning of the term.

6. An additional charge of $35.00 will be levied for each N.S.F. cheque.

7. Written notice of discontinuing lessons must be given no less than 30

Days before payment is due.

8. No lessons will be scheduled on Thanksgiving Day or during Christmas or Easter school breaks as scheduled according to the Calgary Public School Board Calendar Year.
